Description

This course is oriented towards helping students to obtain the needed skills and knowledge to be a professional Google Cloud Architect, a job profile with a deep knowledge of Cloud architecture and Google Cloud Platform that allows them to design, develop and manage solid, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions to drive an organization's business goals.

The first module presents an overview of Google Cloud Platform products and services. Through a combination of presentations, demos, and labs, participants will learn the value of Google Cloud Platform and how to incorporate cloud-based solutions into business strategies.

The second module of this course introduces students to the complete and flexible infrastructure and platform services provided by Google Cloud Platform. By combining presentations, demos and labs, students will explore and implement solution elements, including infrastructure components such as networks, systems, and application services.

This part also covers the implementation of practical solutions including secure interconnected networks, client-issued encryption keys, security and access management, quotas and sharing, and resource monitoring.

The third and last module of this course focuses on the preparation of the official Professional Cloud Architect certification exam, whose passing verifies that a professional is fully qualified to work as a professional Google Cloud architect in a business environment.

The complete preparation offered by this module is achieved by testing useful skills, which include reasoning for exam questions and case understanding, useful tips, reviewing topics in the Infrastructure curriculum and taking a Practice Test, a simulation of the certification exam associated to this course.
