A total of 28 young passionate about new technologies have had the opportunity to participate in the summer camp organized by mSchools, who one more year, have relied in PUE to carry out the technological workshops. MSchools TechCamp<\/a> is an initiative driven by Mobile World Capital Barcelona which aims to develop the digital skills of young students.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For 9 days, the winners of the App Awards<\/a>, academic initiative of mSchools that recognizes the work done during the course by students of the educational proposal App Education, have participated in workshops related to Internet of things (IoT) and Big Data.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Ramon_Sergi_TechCamp\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From 23 to 31 July, Ramon de la Rosa and Sergi Pons, responsible for the curriculum of IoT of Cisco Networking Academy at PUE, have been in charge of carrying out different workshops where students, grouped by teams, have developed prototypes which integrate different home automation solutions. By manipulating a RaspberryPI microprocessor and an Arduino microcontroller and the implementation of different sensors and actuators, participants have been able to implement everyday home solutions as an alarm or an automatic light control.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The second edition of the mSchools TechCamp has been a very positive experience for these young students who, with no need of having advanced knowledges in programming, have been able to create complex applications.<\/p>\n
